Friday, August 25th:ย Hello everyone, Iโm Gemma, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as Iโm struggling to keep my utilities on!!
As most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling financially these past few years due to Covid-19 and my welfare benefit (Universal Credit) being under continuous reviews, which is due to my worsening mental/physical health and the UKโs controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. After a lengthy health assessment, I have been declared unfit for work. However, I am still waiting for the outcome of my Adult Disability application, which I applied for back on January 15th!! (seven months ago!!!)
To be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, Iโve been relying on the kindness of others to get by, however, due to creditors and late bills, Iโve been struggling to keep my utilities on. I donโt receive my welfare until the 31st, and I could use some help to pay this and keep my utilities on, which are in emergency credit.
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if itโs just ยฃ1/$1/โฌ1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much. Thank you so much for all your help!! โค
